1964 was the second year of production for the C2 Corvette, and the fresh new
1963 Sting Ray styling was already a sensation. With the next redesign still a
long way off, Chevrolet put their all into keeping the C2 Corvette looking sharp.
This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette is a beautiful example finished in red paint with a
black interior. Having had the same owner since the 1990s, it has been kept in
great shape post-restoration.

The exterior looks great! Having been painted in the mid-1990s, the paint is
beginning to show some age, but this is not a car that needs major paint and
body work to be enjoyed. The red is still vibrant, and the classic turbine wheels
complete the look. It is important to note that the wheels are not the original
knock-off style, but rather reproductions that mimic the look while bolting on
using normal lug nuts. To many, this is far more preferable to the actual knock-
off style both for safety and ease of use. The included accessory hardtop has
also been refinished, and looks great sitting atop this 'Vette. The black soft top
is free of tears, and works as it should. To the discerning buyer looking for a
high-quality driver Corvette that has been restored and left as GM intended, this
would be a great choice.

Under the hood is not only a correct 327 V8, but the correct numbers-matching
original engine. This Corvette runs like it did new, and is a turn-key cruiser ready
for any activity. The engine bay is clean, tidy, and finished beautifully. Take a
look at the engine bay alone, and that speaks for the quality of this detailed
restoration. Hooked up to the 327 is the numbers-matching 4-speed manual
transmission, making this car a supreme example. Nothing like a C2 Corvette
for a thrill ride!

The interior is in excellent restored condition, and the black is the perfect color
choice to match the red exterior paint. While much time was taken to return this
car to its original state, the owner opted for black leather over vinyl for a more
comfortable and luxurious interior. The leather is in great condition, and really
gives a more upscale feel to the interior. All the soft materials are in good condition,
and the trim shines brightly.

This is a beautifully restored C2 Corvette that is turn-key and ready to go! It
needs nothing, and is ready to be enjoyed. Whether you want an extremely
high-quality weekend cruiser or a top-notch vehicle to show off at your local
car shows, this Corvette would be an excellent choice and is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
